survey-design

combined

Design unbiased survey instruments — question wording, scales, and sampling — to measure attitudes at scale. Use when you need quantitative breadth. For behavioural experiments, use `a-b-test-design` (prototyping-testing). Design survey instruments: questions, scales, flow, social desirability.

Conflict

The two skills overlap on core survey design (question wording, scales, flow, bias), but each contains material steps the other lacks. The first is a product/UX-oriented guide with concrete sampling math, NPS/SUS usage, and analysis/reporting steps. The second is an academic/empirical-research guide with item-specific wording, acquiescence bias, index construction, treatment placement, and demand-effect mitigation. Crowning one would hide a real alternative.
