earths-future

separate

Use when targeting Earth's Future (Earth's Future) or deciding whether an Anthropocene, Earth-system-futures, or sustainability manuscript fits this AGU open-access venue. Encodes the journal's fit, framing, method-and-evidence bar, house style, official-submission re-check, and desk-reject heuristics.

When to use

• Earth-system futures and projections
• Human-Earth interactions
• Sustainability and the Anthropocene
• Risk, vulnerability, and resilience
• Solutions-relevant analysis
• Cross-cutting interdisciplinary studies
• Venue selection between Earth's Future and One Earth
• Desk-reject criteria evaluation

When not to use

• Narrow disciplinary results without Earth-system futures engagement
• Single-discipline geoscience topics not serving interdisciplinary needs
