ppsych-proposal-and-commissioning

separate

Use when shaping a proposal for a Perspectives on Psychological Science (PoPS) contribution — the proposal route (required for cooperative and miscellaneous pieces, optional for stand-alone), what a proposal contains, and how invited/special-issue work differs. Frames the pitch; it does not gather the literature (ppsych-literature-synthesis) or run the submission preflight (ppsych-submission).

When to use

• shaping a PoPS proposal
• deciding whether to send a proposal first
• planning special issues or adversarial collaborations
• planning biographies or book reviews
• framing the pitch for stand-alone integrative ideas
• defining the organizing spine of a proposal
• outlining coordination plans for cooperative work

When not to use

• gathering the literature
• running the submission preflight
• topic selection
• manuscript review process
