jru-robustness
separate
Use when a Journal of Risk and Uncertainty (JRU) result may be sensitive to specification, incentive frame, sample, or inference. Organizes robustness by the threat to the risk/uncertainty parameter; it does not invent evidence or citations.
When to use
- Functional-form dependence of risk parameters
- Utility-weighting confounds
- Elicitation-device artifacts
- Random-incentive or isolation failures
- Stake or hypothetical-bias sensitivity
- Subject heterogeneity masked by pooling
- Multiple comparisons across menus or treatments
- Optimistic inference or clustering issues
When not to use
- Inventing evidence or citations
- Specification search without pre-commitment
- Reporting only the functional form with the cleanest number
- Treating EU-only robustness as sufficient for non-EU claims
- Pooling heterogeneous subjects without addressing heterogeneity
- Reporting significant results from many menus without correction
