rje-tables-figures

separate

Use to design tables and figures for a RAND Journal of Economics (RJE) industrial-organization manuscript — parameter, elasticity, markup, merger-simulation, and counterfactual-welfare exhibits — formatted under the RJE Style Guide (numbered sections, unnumbered subsections, flush-right equations) and disciplined by the hard page caps. Exhibit design, not estimation.

When to use

• Designing IO exhibits
• Formatting tables and figures to RJE Style Guide
• Deciding exhibit placement in main text vs appendix
• Creating demand and cost parameter tables
• Creating elasticity matrices
• Creating markup and marginal-cost tables
• Creating merger-simulation and counterfactual tables
• Creating reduced-form event-study plots

When not to use

• Estimation
