Use when starting or navigating any Progress in Human Geography (PiHG) manuscript and you need the entry point. Routes to the right sub-skill based on lifecycle stage and whether the piece is a free-standing review article or a commissioned Progress Report. It dispatches; it does not draft content.

When to use

• Starting a new PiHG piece
• Navigating mid-project skill selection
• Deciding between review article and Progress Report
• Checking if a topic is review-worthy
• Routing after a decision letter

When not to use

• Drafting content
• Publishing empirical results
• Publishing detailed cases
• Submitting a Progress Report without a commission
