joc-workflow

separate

Use as the entry point for any Journal of Communication (JoC) manuscript. Routes to the right JoC sub-skill based on where you are in the lifecycle and which format (original research article, JoC Forum, special issue) fits. It dispatches; it does not draft content.

When to use

• Starting a new JoC paper
• Deciding which format fits
• Routing to the right JoC sub-skill
• Returning with a decision letter
• Mid-project skill selection
• Executable review pass
• Sibling journal comparison
• Gate-based manuscript review

When not to use

• Drafting content
• Treating JoC like a niche subfield outlet
• Forcing a quantitative template onto non-quantitative work
• Padding a short argument into a full article
• Leaving Data Availability Statement until acceptance
