manufacturing-and-service-operations-management

separate

Use when targeting Manufacturing and Service Operations Management (M&SOM) or deciding whether an operations-management theory / modeling / empirical manuscript fits this venue. Encodes the journal's fit, framing, method-and-evidence bar, house style, official-submission re-check, and desk-reject heuristics.

When to use

• targeting M&SOM
• deciding if an OM manuscript fits M&SOM
• re-framing modeling papers for operational insight
• identifying M&SOM desk-reject risks
• checking M&SOM method and evidence bar
• reviewing M&SOM house style and structure
• re-checking official M&SOM submission guidelines
• suggesting alternative OM/OR/MS venues

When not to use

• replacing the journal's current official submission guidelines
• pure OR methodology without OM payoff
• broad management papers not OM-centered
• technical novelty without operations payoff
